INSTAFACIAL® INFUSION

Collagen begins to decline in amount and function in our skin as early as our 20's. People can begin to see visible signs of aging as early as our 30's. Previously the only available topical collagens on the market came from animal sources, typically bovine collagen in more recent years. Additionally, this collagen had to be hydrolyzed or broken down into fragments to be absorbed through the skin. The collagen protein in whole is very large and has been thought to be unable to absorbed through the skin. Enter Dr. Diamond's Instafacial Infusion with Biomimetic Microcollagen Matrix. This groundbreaking formula utilizes the newest bioengineering techniques and newest collagen technology. Infusion combines three different types of human-identical microcollagen peptides to support the synthesis of Types I & III Collagens - those most responsible for youthful, healthy skin. Type I is the most abundant collagen in the body, a stiff protein that provides strength & structure. Type III is a webby protein that produces an elastic network, or matrix, to provide structure & recoil to the skin.

  • sh-POLYPEPTIDE-121: Bioidentical to human Type XXI. Of the twenty-eight collagens in our bodies, this is a rare but essential collagen because it is a precursor to Types I & III.
  • sh-POLYPEPTIDE-123: Bioengineered to be identical to human Type III.
  • sr-sh-POLYPEPTIDE-69 DIPEPTIDE-19: Recombinant Type III with a low molecular weight for outstanding skin absorption.

These collagen peptides or fragments are bioengineered in a lab, not from animals or plants. They are peptides or smaller fragments of the larger collagen protein and thus can be easily absorbed into the skin. With the fact that they are exactly like what's in the human body, the body recognizes them as self.

In addition, Dr. Diamond brings the formulating technique of molecular synergy into this formula and also utilizes, synergistic peptides, a red macroalgae, proteoglycans and beta glucan to round out the biomimetic collagen matrix and provide structure and support to the skin.
