What is the difference between the Diamond InstaFacial® & the InstaFacial® Collection?

The Diamond InstaFacial® is an in office, multi-modality procedure that stimulates new collagen, elastin & hyaluronic production. The InstaFacial® Collection is an at home collection of skincare products composed of three innovative formulas inspired by different modalities of the Diamond InstaFacial®.

How do I layer Plasma with other Metacine products?

Apply Plasma first, followed by Infusion, EyeLift, Emulsion (evening) & HYDR/O as the final step to seal in hydration.

Is Plasma the same as PRP?

No, Plasma is inspired by PRP, but it is not blood-derived. It uses bioengineered, human-identical growth factors designed to mimic the regenerative properties found in PRP.

Is Plasma suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, Plasma is designed to be lightweight, non-irritating & suitable for daily use. As with any active skincare product, start gradually if your skin is sensitive to allow time to acclimate.

How long does it take to see results?

If using Plasma as directed, you can expect to see results in as little as a few days to a week & improved results with consistent use over time.

Can I use Plasma with retinoids, Vitamin C or exfoliating acids?

Yes. Plasma can be incorporated into routines that include retinoids, Vitamin C & exfoliating acids. For retinoids, apply Plasma first, followed by your retinoid treatment. For Vitamin C, Plasma can be used alongside most Vitamin C formulas. If using a high concentration of pure L-Ascorbic Acid (10–20%), we recommend applying Plasma first & allowing it to absorb before applying Vitamin C, or alternating use between morning & evening. For exfoliating acids, apply your exfoliating treatment after cleansing, then follow with Plasma to support hydration & skin recovery.

Why is Plasma red? Is it normal for the color to vary at times?

Plasma's color comes from naturally derived radish root extract in the formula & may vary slightly from batch to batch. This color variation is normal & does not affect product efficacy.

Is Plasma vegan or human-derived?

Plasma is vegan & cruelty free. Its growth factors are bioengineered to be human-identical, allowing them to support skin's natural communication pathways without using human tissue.

Since I started adding Metacine Instafacial Plasma to my new routine with Mandelic toner and serum, I haven’t had to use my 2x topical Clindamycin ONCE. And have no new papules/pustules. The ingredients are extremely intentional and with signaling peptides this is actually an extremely modern and elegant formula as far as growth factor products go. Its consistency is like water, which I absolutely *adore. * I’m naturally an oil slick so I love light slippy products. It absorbs quickly and layers well with everything else in your routine. It’s still far too soon (purchased the trial size) to see meaningful visible changes, but I’m going to stick with the Metacine Plasma and see what it can do. Apart from the price tag (the one star deduction) and the fact that the bottles are opaque (I like to be able to see where my product usage is at so I can repurchase before I run out) I’ve yet to see any real CONs with this product. If you’re on the fence grab a trial size like I did and see for yourself. Based on what I have experienced in less than 14 days, I’m buying a bigger bottle next payday.
